"I just recently purchase a house, the previous owner had dogs. My fiance wanted to remove all carpets prior to us moving in. It's a 2 story house 3200 Sq. Ft. We contacted AFFORDABLE CARPETS and they send out a representative by the name of JULIE POMPI. She was amazing, very professional, and what really did it for me was how honest she was. She informed us the carpet did not need to be replace, she told us it would be cheaper to just get professionally clean instead of replacing 2 story worth of carpets that would potentially cost us over $2,000. She drove 45 minutes to the house and waited an extra 15 minutes before we could open the door for her to come in for the estimate. She really didn't have to do that but I'm glad she did. She was able to save us thousands of dollars when she could have made a huge profit. It's good to know there's still good and honest people out there. "If you’re looking for friendly and helpful this place is it. The staff as well as management were very helpful and super nice and the price was definitely better than anywhere else I went to. The owner came out the same day I called with several different samples of carpet and do her measurements. She was very helpful with explaining everything and gave me good advice for what I was looking for. When it came time for the installation of the carpet they were finished in 2 hours which was awesome and extremely convenient. So if you’re looking for new carpet this is the best place in Jacksonville in my opinion."
